CPU question for cMP - difference between 5,1 CPUs & i series CPU on MBP? Wondering what the difference is between the xeon processors of the 5,1 MP (my 2012 has 2 x 2.4Ghz 6 core), & the i series of the MBP (my 2012 is a 2.7Ghz i7). Curious as I've been gaming a little on my Mac Pro & some games Im looking at playing are "requiring" an i7 processor as part of the system requirements. Thanks

if you are trying to decide which to buy focus more on the ports and memory instead. More thunderbolt buses gives more ports. Thunderbolt ports come in handy especially if user has multiple boot drives.
