iPhone X ghost clicking

Recently my iPhone started randomly clicking in places (mainly the top half of the screen). I figured it might be my screen protector so I took it off and it still continued to do it. I cleaned my screen and it still does it. It doesn’t do it all the time but when it starts it leaves my phone unusable because it is clicking repeatedly. When it starts I turn my phone off then back on and it stops. Is there any way to fix this?
