Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I just purchased a new iPhone 8. I noticed under settings my setting is on mobile data instead of cellular. All of my other devices are on cellular settings. I’m concerned that the mobile setting will be more roaming. Can this or should this be changed? Please help thank you

Depending on your location, your phone would display either cellular, or mobile in Settings. Certain areas identify by the word cellular, and other countries identify by the word mobile. It is the same thing, only named differently. Where is the iPhone from?
What is your iPhone's language set to in Settings->General->Language & Region->Language?
If its set to English U.K, or Australia, specific words may change to reflect that countries usages. i.e Mobile instead of Cellular.
Also check the Region there is also correctly set to the U.S.
Nice catch. The regional thing is what I was referring to, but I never thought of a US phone being changed to another region displaying it that way. I always thought that was done by the carriers. Another tool to add to my tool box of answers!
