MacBook Pro (10.14.4) wont connect to internet. It’s connected to the WiFi network and other devices are connecting fine on the same network.

What is the back story—is the is a new problem/ on going problem/ what changed?
Was this after the point update to X.X.4 (?)
I would try and re-install the Combo update on top of your existing 10.14.4
This has been known to sort anomalies not readily explained after a update.

How, if my macbook will not go online, am I to download and install any update?
I have the same problem with Safari and Firefox. Google Chrome works well and I have changed my default browser until Apple fixes their bug.
