The feature "offload unused apps" is really important in saving some storage space.
However, i would like to know how it works with particularly whatsapp. If I offload whatsapp, and after some time i reinstall the app. Will my messages and photos be kept? Or i will only get those backed up on ICloud?

offloading an App from Settings > General > iPhone Storage will retain the chat history once the app is reinstalled
