Volume on Apple TV is too low

As compared to the volume output from other devices connected to the TV (cable, blue ray etc), the volume when watching Apple TV 4K is too low. I have a smart TV (LG OLED) which has Netflix and Amazon Prime video apps built in. When I stream the content via Apple TV the volume needs to be increased almost twice as opposed to streaming content directly from the apps installed in the LG Tv itself.

and it is the same issue when routed through my denon AV receiver.

Any help or guidance shall be appreciated

in Settings on Apple TV.

Go to Video and Audio.

Audio format: By default, Apple TV uses the best audio format available. You can change the audio format if you’re experiencing problems with playback. Select Audio Format, then select Change Format and choose either Dolby Atmos, Dolby Digital 5.1, or Stereo.

Try Stereo

And you could also try reduce loud sounds to enhance sound on lower volume

Your Denon AVR should have adjustable audio output levels per each source. It should allow you to have matching levels of all your sources, so that no source is too loud or too soft when you switch from one source to the next.
