Wacom Cintiq 13HD Touch VS Mojave OS
Hello there,
MacBook Pro 13" (mid 2012)
Cintiq 13HD Touch
I know there is nothing wrong with my Cintiq because it was working before my laptop was repaired (a new hard drive) and I had Sierra OS. It doesn't want to work for Mojave.
I'm reopening this topic up because I've tried every possible advice/post out there and my first question is:
Has anyone had any luck getting their Cintiq to display?
I've tried the article Wacom has for compatible drivers for Mojave on MacBook Pro. I've tried:
Uninstalling the drivers, deleted everything Wacom related on my computer, and then reinstalling.
I've tried that and then restarting.
I followed the article from Wacom to a T.
The only time the computer has asked for permission for Wacom to control/access things was the first time I got my laptop back from getting repaired and using the original CD to install the original drivers.
Tonight, I went and cleaned out everything Wacom/tablet/driver related. I first downloaded the newest, latest driver and installed that. There was no prompt for permission to access anything. I checked Security System Preferences, it was open to allow access to everything.
Then I did another clean out and used the original disk, after that was installed, I was prompted to install the latest driver, twice, and did that.
Everything was just as I should be, except in Security when the WacomTouchDriver was in Accessibility and not in Automation.
Why is that? And how do you get it WacomTouchDriver into Automation???
My Cintiq shows up in the Wacom Desktop Center and in System Preferences, but the laptop doesn't:
I really feel like this is happening because of Apple. Wacom HAD to release a new driver for a new Operating System.
I feel like the only solution is to downgrade to Sierra. That was when my Cintiq was working fine. But from talking to support, there isn't a way to downgrade, which to put it bluntly, sucks a lot.
Apple should be able to offer a downgrade to the last OS because Cintiqs are expensive and a lot of people have to save up to get one or be lucky enough to be gifted one. Not only that, it's been very frustrating trying to get a machine to work and nothing you do fixes it.
Any thoughts? Solutions?
