Zoom in in selfies

Whatsapp and snapchat the same issue!! Why does the camera zooms in while taking a selfie in these apps !!! It’s horrible

Thank you for the fast reply. I will contact the app developers but i thought that since the issue is common it’s related to apple. Thanks for the clarification.
