works well on a couple of older gen ipads
when texture ends will News+ work on these older devices? Otherwise a loss for Apple as I could not longer get the value of a subscription without buying newer iPad. Thx all Mark

It did answer your question. Texture is ending, if it hasn't already. If you don't have iOS 10 or higher on your device, you WON'T get News+.
Apple doesn't and never has all of the sudden released a version of app, for lower iOS level devices. If it requires iOS 10 or higher, that's not going to change.

That depends on the iOS you're using on your older devices? News+ requires iOS 10 or higher. If your devices are at least that, you'll be fine.
thanks, I am aware of this. iPads won’t upgrade to IOS10, that leaves many of us out of this option so my question is still not answered but thanks anyways
