I have a unique problem. All of my finances are on Appleworks 6 and I have tried to use number and just cant get used to it. is there ANY way that you can run Appleworks on macOS High Sierra.

None. AppleWorks does not work on macOS since 2006 when Intel machines came out. There is no version of AppleWorks that would work with any version of macOS since Lion. Get used to learning Numbers or get MS Office and learn to use Excel.
