I deleted the app so why am I still being charged for it ??

Nobody on here is charging you for anything, we are just fellow users.
If the app had an auto-renewing subscription just deleting the app obviously won't stop it, that only deletes the app. To stop a subscription : View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support
