My Mac is not connecting to my computer and looking for the printer driver software for HP Laserjet 4250n.
HP cannot provide as it's an old computer.
Any assistance/guidance would be appreciated.

The last Mac OS that HP support for this printer is Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks, so it may not be possible to get this printer working in Mojave.
You could try this, https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US once the file has downloaded then
double click on it to start the installation procedure.
