Apple watch isnt transfering data to iphone,

My apple wathcin isnt tranfering the data to my iphone, i am also not apple to download the activitiy app, when i go to my health app - activity my data is not being tracked there and it loads and loads nothing happens. i have tired a few things and still nothing works. i dont know what to do and i really would like to finally be able to use my apple watch right.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 12

Is your watch paired with your iPhone?

One of the steps when pairing is the automatic downloading and installing of the activity app.

Is your watch listed as a source in the Health app?

Make sure you have the latest updates for your iPhone (IOS 12.2) and your Watch (OS 5.2). If so, try resetting your watch by pressing in the Crown and Side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both.
