My exercise ring will not move or close. It will not even register activity app

My exercise ring will not move. I have been tracking exercise with the activity app, however, now that is not working. My calorie and stand circles seems to work fine. The green one will not move? Please help.

I recommend starting the workout in the workout app. You’ll also want to get your heart rate up above a brisk walk. The Exercise ring won’t move unless your heart rate increases. Check out: https://www.apple.com/watch/close-your-rings/

This also shows you how to use the Activity app on your watch: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204517

You might also need to update your watch settings to get the most accurate activity reading. Here’s how: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207941

If all else fails, update both your iPhone and Apple Watch. This can help! Be sure to have a backup of your iPhone data before updating:

Hello.

I am trying to download 5.2 to my watch with little success. It will not move off paused.

I updated iPhone to iOS12.2. My watch is on the charger and connected to wifi. I have unpaired, turned-off, deleted down load and started over and I am stuck on Pause.

If I can get this to down load I hope it helps because I was using the work out app to track activity. It was the only way my green circle would work. Then that stopped working. I did a 30 minute run last weekend and the time activity circle moved 12 minutes. My heart rate is elevated and it does not move. It never moves on its own without work out app, which I find odd because calorie and stand circles work.

Any ideas why my download will not work?

Thank you!

I cannot get the 5.2 to download. It keeps pausing or says it has 2 days remaining. I will reset the watch and unpair if I can get it to down load?

I have my watch charged and connected to wifi. I down loaded update to iPhone. I have deleted download attempts several times and started over. I have turned phone off and on, reset, unpaired... I let it try and down load over night. It is just moving super slow. I am not sure if this is a capacity issue due to recent release or I am missing something?

Hello.

I updated my iPhone to iOS 12.2. I am trying to download 5.2 to my watch. The download will start and after about 30 minutes is says paused. I cannot manually resume from software update. It shows a resume download bar but it is not available to touch.

I have my watch on the charger fully charged and am connected to wi-fi. I have turned the phones off. Deleted the down load several times and started over. I let the the download try to work over night and when I woke up it was on pause. It pauses after about 25% downloading.

I have easily downloaded software in the past. Am I missing something? Thank you so much.
