MacBook Pages

pages is not “quitting” wont let me update or open ant existing files i have. Been like this for two days I can’t even restart my computer

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

Force-quit Pages. Either by pressing the option key and right-clicking on the Pages Dock icon, or by pressing option+command+Esc keys. Reboot your Mac.


Press and hold the shift key when you launch Pages again. You should do this once, and only after Pages hangs, and you have to force quit it, or it crashes. See if it will let you open the document you were working on before you had to force quit it.


Pages '09 no longer works on Mojave, in case that was the culprit.
