Kernal extensions for Wacom tablet blocked-why? and how do I fix it?

According to etrecheck, that is (part of what is)creating a Beachball problem on my Mac. I use the tablet, it works, but when I re-installed the latest driver this morning, I checked my Security settings, and, sure enough, the software from Wacom, or some part of it, was blocked from loading. And I tried unlocking the security panel and "Allowing" the software. Nothing happened. It wasn't allowed. I haven't called Wacom yet, and I will, but any ideas would be appreciated. Note-I installed the software and tried allowing it with minimal processes functional. The only apps running were Firefox, Sys Prefs, Wacom, and Etrecheck.

Mac Pro, macOS 10.13

Believe it or not, I just had the same experience. I submitted my original request for help, and went back to trying to figure the problem out, restarted, checked the security prefs (no change), and ran another Etrecheck survey. No problems. Problem gone! No beachball, no slowdowns, and no remarks from the OS. I wish it were clearer what was going on, but it's fixed, apparently. I hope I can get more details from Wacom in the next few days. Thanks for the help!
