Macbook does not boot after SMC reset

I have done an SMC reset on my macboook Model A1534 since it was not detecting the MagSafe power source. The device failed to restart after the SMC reset. how can I resolve this issue?

MacBook, macOS 10.13

If you haven't already, you may need to try multiple SMC resets just in case the first one didn't "take."

If you already have, at which point in the boot up process is your MacBook stalling?

For possible power adapter issues check out this article.

If your battery still has a charge, then do the SMC reset without the power adapter connected.

If these steps don't help and since the magsafe LED isn't lit, then you may have some other hardware issue.
