Used to be able to ping phone to find it. What happened to screen and battery life?

I'm not sure what you are asking. The ability to ping the iPhone from the Apple Watch still exists, as does the battery percentage. Both exist in Control Center.
Basically I wasn’t able to get to the control center at all. Had to do a reboot - all ok now. Able to access control center and notifications. Thanks.
thanks for your response. On Apple Watch 2 am no longer able to access control center or open notifications. Used to be able to hold down and scroll up for former and tap on notification button at top to open notifications. Neither function has worked for the last 2 weeks or so.

It is not necessary to press and hold to scroll up for Notification Center. All you need to do is swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen. For Notifications, you swipe downwards from the top of the screen to see notifications. Neither require you to press on the screen. Check to see if that works for you. Are any other actions working on the screen? Can you press on the screen to get other apps to open after getting to the app screen?
