I would like to upgrade from my solo Apple Music account to include my wife’s iPhone as well. I understand that the additional person can be included at a discounted rate. Please advise how to set this up. Thx

Apple Music subscriptions are linked to Apple ID accounts, not to specific devices per se.
Family Sharing is for up to six family members (each with their own Apple ID) to share e.g. purchases and/or an Apple Music Family Subscription.
