iMac 27" 2019 - correct RAM order?

Hi!

I've read a couple of posts regarding this, but I still am not sure (e.g. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7320499?answerId=29299598022#29299598022 andhttps://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/223429/How+to+couple+RAM+Modules+in+iMac+27)

What is the correct order to install RAM in the 2019 iMac?

I've seen different screenshots that the RAM sockets (?) are numbered from lower most position and up (1,2,3,4), and that there are two banks (?), 1,3 and 2,4. In order to utilize "dual channel" (?) you have to place similar RAM within the same banks, e.g. two identical RAM in 1 and 3, and two identical in # 2 and 4. I bought the iMac with 8 GB RAM and they were placed in number 1 and 3. I purchased Cruical 2 x 16 RAMs and installed them in the vacant positions, 2 and 4. Is this correct? Below is a screenshot of my current installment:

What confuses me is that people talk about having similar ram within the same bank, but on my Mac it says "BANK0, BANK1, BANK2, BANK3", and not "BANK0, BANK1, BANK0, BANK1" as I've seen on other Macs.

Is my installation correct?

Thank you so much in advance =)

Thank you! Can I ask, is it still true that you should pair ram modules (1,3 and 2,4) in order to get "dual channel" to work / maximum speed? Or is this a "dynamic" process and no longer necessary?

EDIT:

I've also read that there is a difference between installing 8-16-8-16 and 16-8-16-8. Is this true? And again, is my installation reflecting the best option?

Yes, you are using the best option.

Pairing RAM is recommended but not necessary.

It doesn't matter.
