How to share external hard drive via Ethernet?

Hi there,

I have an external RAID5 Thunderbolt hard drive that I'd like to share with my other Mac via 10Gb Ethernet as a direct connection between the 2 Macs.

Is that possible and if so, how?

TIA!

Of course it is possible, but you have to access the remote mac with an account with admin privileges.

Just turn on File Sharing as usual, and you have access not just to your home folder, but also the full system drive and any external drives.
