How would you connect this wireless mic to your MacBook Pro ... Bluetooth or Wi-Fi? Once connected does it appear in System Preferences > Sound > Input?
Does lavalier support offer any help with using their mic with Apple computers?
I can't use BlueTooth because of latency issues. Wi-Fi might be solution though I suspect I would also have delay issues. Therefore, I will have to have the wireless mic receiver and the speakers cabled to my MacBook. So then, with only one 3.5 mm port, can I use a USB or HDMI port for audio-in or audio out.
If the link that BobTheFisherman provided is your Lavalier mic, then their USB adapter uses a UHF connection between the mic and the adapter. I also understand from the link that the adapter includes a headphone jack for either headphones or speakers.
What kind of speaker? Do you use a mixer or amp?
I think you'll need to connect your wireless lavalier usb receiver to the computer's usb port.
