Changing email address in ones account

Where do I change my email address in my apple forums account? It is not under preferences. When/If I change it, will the old password be left in place?

Ok. I found out that I have to add an email address at https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage. Once you change it under "APPLE ID" it will delete the old address which shows lower down under "REACHABLE AT"
