Smart Playlist on iPhone only showing songs purchased on iTunes but shows all on Mac

I created a Smart Playlist that looks/works fine on my Mac but on my iPhone, only the song that I purchased via iTunes is on the list. The other songs, which I purchased on the artist's site directly, work fine in a standard playlist on both my Mac and my iPhone (so they are loaded fine on the phone). I can see the full list on my device in iTunes on my Mac, so it looks correct there. How do I fix it so the Smart Playlist contains all the songs on my iPhone?

Try adding a Media Kind is Music rule.

What are the rules of the list? Try rebooting the phone to see if the smart list is re-evaluated.

Unfortunately, that had no effect. I presume the issue is with the nested criteria, since I've never had an issue with smart lists playing music purchased outside of iTunes in the past. It's just really strange that the smart list works fine on my Mac, as you'd think you'd see the problem there too - or that the songs wouldn't work on my phone from a standard list.
