iPad and iPhone backup on icloud
I want to back up my iPad but I’m worried is will write over the backup of my iPhone on iCloud. Is each device backup separate foe each device?

Your backups are totally separate from each other. There is no way that you can overwrite either device backup with the other device’s backup.
This holds true using iCloud or iTunes for backups.
