iPhone 7 speaker phone grayed out?

When I make a phone call I cannot use speaker phone. My phone is not under warranty and I do not want to pay for a new one. Help please.

Yeah, so this is actually a common issue on the 7 plus. It's when the chip on the motherboard that controls the audio starts to separate and rip pads off of the motherboard. I would back up your data ASAP as there's no telling out long it will work. After some time and the chip separates more and more there's a chance that your phone will not boot at all, and will be stuck in a boot loop. Google Iphone 7plus Audio IC and it can give you a better explanation to the issue. I don't believe Apple has any plan in place to help those with the issue. If the phone stops working before you can backup the data there are services that can help get that data back. Unfortunately I can't post their names here, but a quick google search will lead you in their direction.
