AppStore icon missing on ipad

Somehow the icon for the AppStore has disappeared on my iPad. Is there someway to restore it without restoring to factory settings and loosing all my games, music, and most important pictures?

The App Store cannot be deleted, but it can be turned off in Settings. If you are still on iOS 10 go to Settings > Restrictions and turn the app store back on.

The usual reason for not having an App Store icon is that a restriction has been placed on purchases. See the "Prevent iTunes & App Store purchases" section of Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
