How do you turn off iMessage notifications for a specific contact on iPhone?

Previously turning off notifications for a specific contact in Messages was easy: Open the message, tap "Details" in the upper right and turn on 'Do Not Disturb'. The 'Details' tab no longer appears in 12.1.4. HELP!!

On the main Messages screen (the list of all messages), slide the message to the left and then tap "Hide Alerts."
