can i charge my iphone 7 with 30watt apple charger ?

since i tried charge my iphone 7 with ipad charger . can i try a bigger watts to charge my iphone 7 . it will effect battery life or just a normal situation

Yes, you can use a 30 watt charger. Apple advises against using anything but their specific charger. However, the higher wattage charger must use the same type of port for compatibility.

besides , using higher voltage to charge my iphone 7 is not faster as my expectation . can i charge my iphone 8 with higher voltage and gets a faster charging ? because iphone 8 supports fast charge
