Why don’t you have a feature on AirPods to prevent them from pairing (aka kill-switch) to other devices after is reported stolen? i know someone is using them beacuse I can track their location. When the person was confronted of stealing them, he just turned them off.

Of course to implement that you would need to add a CPU, operating system, etc. and have it be very small. Look for a significant price increase. And did you contact the police?
We are not Apple. We are users with no idea of the why behind Apple features. I cannot think of any earbuds from any manufacturer that have such a feature.
