Photos 4.0 no longer has a sharing choice for Facebook

I am running Photos 4.0. It no longer has a sharing choice for Facebook. This is a feature I have used quite often. Now I have to upload photos from my phone to edit them (I prefer my iMac for this due to screen size). I then have to Air Drop the album I wish to share back to my phone which still has a sharing choice for Facebook.

I am used mot Apple products that are customer friendly and easy to use. This is a step in the wrong direction - that is to say NOT customer friendly and NOT easy to use. I find this change very frustrating! How about some customer orientation among your engineers.

It is not only the facebook integration that has been removed in MacOS X 10.14 Mojave, but also other social media like twitter, Vimeo, Flickr.

You are right, that it now a bit more inconvenient, because we can no longer set up the social media accounts directly in the System Preferences, but this is small price to pay for the improved overall security. A main improvement of Mojave is to make it harder for third-party services to to get access to the user data and to pester us with tailored advertisements.

You can still upload your photos to the other sites, if you sign into your facebook account from a web browser and then use the media browser to access the albums in your Photos Library.
