Facebook app has no internet connection on iPhone

I can’t get Facebook to load and I get a “no internet connection” message. My internet is connected.

Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities. I see you're having an issue with connectivity and I'm glad to help out.


It sounds like you're referring to the Facebook app rather than the website; is that right?


Does the same issue occur on both Wi-Fi and a cellular data connection? If you find it's only happening on cellular data, tap Settings > Cellular, and then scroll down to Cellular Data and make sure it's switched on for Facebook.


If the issue is happening on both Wi-Fi and cellular data, does it help if you Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch?


Also, under Settings > General > About, which iOS version are you using?
