How do I access my iCloud past calendar events

My iPhone and iPad calendars do nit display past year’s events. How do I access the past years events?

I want to see all previous calendar entries on my iPhone, even those from 2+ years ago. I have my iPhone calendar set to show all previous entries. I want to be able to go back and search through previous years for doctor appointments, school appointments, etc. I have a Windows PC, and searching week by week, or month by month, is not practical. The information is saved on iCloud.com, but it is a slow and tedious process to try to find anything. I want to be able to search through previous years on my iPhone. There has to be a better way. Please let me know what it is. Thank you,

Calender I am on the iPhone XPR, my laptop has old calender entries but not my iPhone . How do I see entries of last year on my phone . Al settings as far as I am aware are being synced and I back up on the cloud
