iTunes keeps freezing

Update: I was able to solve the problem. All you need to do is renew your Wi-Fi connection and try again or even try another network.

Simple fix after spending so much time looking how to fix it.

Update: I have tried the whole booting in safe mode and iTunes still freezes when opened.

I have now discovered that iTunes only freezes when it tries to update my iCloud Music Library.
