How to disable the FaceTime App on my MacBook Air

I don't want to have any connection to the FaceTime app on my MacBook Air. I am running Mojave OS

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

how to remove facetime from my Mac and other devices I would like to remove Facetime or at the very least disable it so that it never ever goes on. Everytime some tries to facetime me, the application craps out and I have to restart my computer. I cannot unfortunately tell people not to use facetime to contact so I would like to remove it or disable it permanently.

FACETIME I can't seem to delete FaceTime on a mac device? I really dislike it and I know how to disable it, but I want it gone permanently. Anyone know if this is even possible? If not can you explain why, it is driving me bananas. Thank you!

How to delete Facetime? I want to make sure this app never runs again on my Macbook. Is that possible? Also, is it even legal to make such apps hard to uninstall? (Still hope it's possible somehow).

Do you have Facetime turned off in the Facetime application?
