Recovery of accidentally deleted i cloud mailbox and contents

On my i pad I had a folder in my mailbox with my i cloud e mail address showing twice ?

I have never known why this was and i am certain i only have one e mail address.

On my i pad i do not use any other e mail account.

Thought i would delete one of them as i was doing some housekeeping ,unfortunately it removed both.

Within this were several titled folders containing important e mails.

On realising my mistake I instantly went to trash to recover , however they did not show in trash .

Does anyone know if i am able to recover these e mails ?

Thank you

Did you delete the account within the mail app or via settings>Passwords & accounts?

Try recreating the email account on the iPad, your emails should still be on the server so this should restore them all.

If they’re not on the server then I’m sorry but they’re gone for good.

You can first check iCloud webmail to see if the messages/folders are still there:

  1. Open any web browser you use or have and go to the official website of iCloud where you have to put your Apple ID or iCloud email or password.
  2. After you have logged in, click the mail icon that you can see on the screen.
  3. This will load the iCloud emails that provide you the access to the drafts, archives, inbox, outbox, and trash and other folders.
  4. Here you can see your iCloud emails.
