Mac Mini resolution on screen

Hey guys,

i have a problem with with my Mac mini - whenever I turn on my Mac and login the resolution on the screen always cuts out the top bar and I manually have to go to display settings and fix it.

is there anyway to fix this so that it always loads up the correct size for the screen?

Hi nonothechamp

What year model Mac Mini?

What model and size is the display?

What type of connection are you using?

What exactly do you do, that fixes the problem?

Sorry for all the questions, but it sure saves a lot of guessing.

Go to the Display Pref, hold the option key and click the scaled button.

Go to the connected Displays Menu and change the Aspec Ratio is correct.

Reset the NVRAM, as per > Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support
