Hi,
The ECG app does not appear on my watch following the update to OS 5.2.
i have an iPhone 8 which has IOS 12.2 installed.
The ECG app should be available in Ireland following the update to OS 5.2 but does not appear and there is no prompt in the Health app on my iPhone for any update.
I have an Apple Watch 4 series, which I purchased in Sydney airport on the way home, but my Apple ID is Irish.
Any help much appreciated

I have heard they have worked but are région based. Europe model are A2007 or A2008, which I have. I suggest a call to Apple support will answer your question quickly. Come back and let us know what they say.

I would suggest you check the Watch region is set to Ireland.
Tried the reset but no luck
spoke to Apple and it’s linked to the model number. I’ll have to wait until Australia approve ECG and then the app will appear on my watch

The only thing I would try is erase all content and settings and set up from new. See if that does anything.
Good question. The A1978 is a GPS model. I heard that it will work if brought in the region they it’s supposed to work. So I guess yours brought in Australia it won’t work in Ireland. As I say Apple support can clear this up

My watch does not have cellular on it so I didn’t think it would make a difference but I will come back once I get an answer.
