i have an old Thunderbolt Display which I used with my late 2012 Mac mini and have just bought a new mac mini. how can i connect the display to the new Mac mini

Mac mini 2018 or later

Apple Thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter.

It is what I am using - works fine.
