How do you remove a widget

I am trying to remove a widget. I was holding the screen to get the widgets to wiggle and they would not, so how do I remove them now?

First you swipe to the right from the home screen to get to the widgets. Swipe down to the bottom of the screen and tap Edit. Delete them in the next screen, and tap done at the top when you are finished.

I have my widgets on my screen. I use to just press down somewhere on the screen and widgets would wiggle and have an X for me to delete. It has changed and not able to do what I did before.... so your instructions are not working for me on my I6. I swipe down and get my keyboard. So what now???

We are real people that participate here. We are volunteers. We don’t get paid to be here or to help. I think you had no idea what you are asking about. You want to know how to delete an app, not a widget. If you knew what to ask and the correct way to ask, you might get the help that you need.

Did you have restrictions set in Screen Time and that’s why you couldn’t delete the apps?
