Backlit Apple Logo Removed

Sometimes MacBooks fail to sleep properly when we close the screen, And that could cause the MacBook to continue working and heat up and it causes a great damage.

In the past we know from Backlit Apple Logo light in addition to the ambient sleep light, But now with the Backlit Apple Logo Removed How the Heaven's would you know if it went to sleep?

The sleep indicator was removed quite a long time ago. I know the problem you are talking about. I was a bit concerned when the sleep indicator was removed. But I haven’t had any sleeping issues on any new machines in several years.

It’s funny though. I still have a 2008 machine I use for testing. It is stuck on 10.11. It does have a sleep indicator and it needs it. I can’t leave it running over the weekend. Every Monday morning, that thing is dead and the fans are running full blast. I have no idea what the problem is. But newer machines don’t have that problem.
