Gmail log-in problem, but only on my Mac

After I enter my login credentials to gmail, I get a page that says "Unable to sign in to your Google Account: Delete cookies." I did as instructed, but after logging in I got the same page. So I deleted everything I could: cookies, cache, history. Didn't work. That was Firefox. Tried Safari and got the same error page. Gmail works fine on my phone (it's an android), and it works on the Web using my Windows laptop. But my mac is my main computer, with all my work files on it, yadda yadda. Note: After I log in, and get the error page, I'm "sorta" logged in, in the sense that my picture is showing in the upper right corner, and I can even "log out," from that picture, but after "logging in" on FF or Safari, I can't see any of my data, just the error page. If I try logging out logging in again, it does no good.

Btw I tried restarting, and that didn't work either.

Just posting here because it might be mac-related. Any ideas? Thanks!
