Thanks for reaching out via Apple Support Communities. I understand that you're having trouble with the keyboard that you use with your iPad Pro is not working as you'd expect. I'd like to see how I can help. Just to be sure, are you using a Smart Keyboard Folio or a third party keyboard? What happens when you try to connect the two? If you see an error message, what does it say? What steps have you tried to help with this so far?
Also, take a look at this link here for troubleshooting tips to help get this resolved. If you see an ‘Accessory may not be supported’ alert. If you're using a Smart Keyboard Folio, the steps in this link under "Get help" has some good info as well. Use your Smart Keyboard Folio or Smart Keyboard with iPad Pro
