Help Processing audio from Final Cut Pro X in Logic Pro X Please?

Hi,

I'm trying to edit my audio from Final Cut Pro in Logic...

I'm detaching my audio from a clip in Final Cut Pro, exporting that audio, then I'm working on it in Logic to make it sound better...

In Logic I'm using...

1. Speech Enhancer (Legacy)

2. EQ

3. Compressor

4. De-Esser

5. Adaptive Limiter

However.......

Once I've finished editing my audio in Logic and Bounce it to import back into Final Cut Pro, the audio is now a longer duration than it was before???

I have Bounced only the audio that I put into Logic, so how has it got longer?

Is that due to the compression?

Obviously this is a problem, as the audio now no longer matches the clip that it came from originally...

Is there a way to fix it? or a way around it?

Any help on this matter would be great, thank you! :)

Probably you have imported a 48 kHz file and edited and bounced it in 44.1 khz.

you should make sure Logic is set to the correct sample frequency (whatever frequency the original file is set to - 48 kHz is pretty much the global standard for movie audio)
