Delete siri shortcut SUGGESTIONS

I want to be able to search for text in several apps, so I don't want to turn off 'siri & suggestions'. However, I very much want to turn of "suggested shortcuts". I don't need to see that cr@p. Is there a way to delete shortcut suggestions? Or turn them off while still being able to search through those apps?

If you don’t want to see Siri Suggestions or Shortcuts for a specific app, go to Settings > Siri & Search, then scroll down and tap the app. From here, you can turn off all Search, Suggestions, and Shortcuts for that app. Or turn off Allow on Lock Screen to remove suggestions for that app on the Lock screen.

Go to Settings > Siri & Search, scroll down and turn off Suggestions in Search, Suggestions in Look Up, or Suggestions on Lock Screen.

Perhaps my post wasn't clear. I am not willing to turn off search. I require search to be on so I can find entries in several apps. However, I don't want to see shortcut suggestions for those apps. I'm guessing having search functionality but not the suggested shortcuts BS is another thing that apple annoyingly does not accommodate.
