migration program

It says the program moves the files from a PC to the Mac. Can I just copy instead?

You can if you would like, if you are migrating from a PC to a Mac then you can do a copy and paste. Of course PC apps will not run on a Mac however your data should copy just fine. If you have not read the following I would strongly suggest it!!!
