Network (reception) problem

My English is weak. M trying to explain my problem...

so I updated my iPhone to 12.2 few weeks ago. My problem is. in my area for talking with people 2g network is good . Thats why i keep my device in 2g mode always. I hv wifi connection for using internet.

After updating my iPhone it never sticks to 2g . And there is no option to keep this thing in 2g . Is there any way i can keep my iPhone 6 in 2g.

Options for 2G or 3G or LTE are configured on your iPhone by your carrier, not by Apple.

Contact your carrier and explain your issue. Also ask them if they do provide you with Wi-Fi Calling option. If so, set it up, cause it would be great for your scenario if you have Wi-Fi in your area and bad cellular coverage.
