Who pays the fee when using Apple Pay?

I use a debit Mastercard, with chip technology, at Point of Sale in various restaurants, stores, and with online merchants. I heard there is a fee (I.E. 3%) charged to the store/merchant by the financial institutions for providing this cashless method of payment each time I swipe or insert my card. Since I do not like fees for myself or anyone else, I decide to switch to Apple Pay using the same debit card. I added my debit Mastercard to Apple Pay.

Question:

Is there a fee when I use Apple Pay to any of the following institutions: Store/Merchant, issuing financial institution, Apple, or the MasterCard company?

Thanks in advance,

The stores pay the fees as part of a processing fee and for using the service. Not all transactions are processed through the same system. You are not being charged an additional fee on top of what you are buying.
