Creating a calendar with photos

I have created calendars with photos for years using apple and have just discovered that I no longer can. For many of them I printed them myself after saving as a pdf as I live in Vietnam and didn't have access to them being shipped. Now I am told even to create a calendar I have to download an extension. I tried doing that with Mimeo but they don't allow you to save to a PDF you have to print with them and they will charge about $20/calendar to ship to Vietnam, which is the cost of the calendar as well. They also will ship each calendar individually and won't combine orders, unless you order multiple of the same calendar, which I don't.

Is there anyway I can still create the calendar in photos, or on some app that will allow me to save and print. I will still print a couple or two a year on whatever app is printing, as their quality is better, but I like to make these as gifts for friends and need the capacity to print myself. Any help would be appreciated as the whole reason we bought an iMac is because of the projects I like to make on them, I'm feeling quite angry about it right now.

Do you still have iPhoto installed? iPhoto 9.6.1 can still create calendar projects.

If you have a backup of your Mac from before you upgraded to macOS 10.14, you could try to revert the Mac to this system version. macOS 10.13.4 has been the last version that allowed you to create calendars to print on your own.

I do not know any online service that allows to save the finished project as a PDF file for printing at home.

One more thing - you could create your own calendars for printing with Keynote or Pages. Insert your photos on the even numbered pages and add one of the free, printable calendars to the odd numbered pages. There are many ready-made PDF calendars available on the net, for example: https://www.calendar-12.com/printable_calendar/2019

perhaps you can decorate these with your own photos.
