Is it possible to edit the metadata in someway?

i have acquired a used camera and incorrectly changed the date in the camera Set Up Menu to 2012 instead of 2019. Is it possible to move the images into their correct chronological place in Photos?

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.13

There is a built-in command to correct the wrong camera clock setting:

  • In Photos, select all photos at once, that you have taken with this camera.
  • Then use the command "Image > Adjust Date & Time".
  • Set the date and time to the correct date and time of the first selected photo. The dates for all other photos will be adjusted by the same offset.
